Salary: $65k-$115k

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, cash processing, and statistical recordkeeping


Manage month-end closings and prepare financial/statistical reports


Supervise, train, evaluate, and support accounting staff


Prepare annual budgets and manage departmental operations within budgetary guidelines


Prepare various tax returns (sales tax, payroll tax, IRS forms 990, 5500, etc.)


Handle cost reimbursement reports and government reporting


Assist in annual audits and coordinate with independent auditors


Maintain capital assets and depreciation reporting


Conduct required time studies and maintain statistical data for cost reporting


Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold compliance standards


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance


Prior experience in hospital or healthcare accounting required


Strong knowledge of accounting principles and attention to numerical accuracy


Ability to manage confidential information appropriately


Effective verbal and written communication skills


Leadership skills to guide a collaborative and productive team


Preferred Skills:

Experience in financial reporting and healthcare cost reimbursement


Familiarity with electronic health record systems and healthcare compliance standards
