Job Description:
ID: 55296057 Shift: Nights 12 hours 3/12's Description: This
position follows AHSA's clinical interview process. Candidates can
expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where
applicable with decisions typically made the same day or by the
next business day. Applicants who are looking for more than 7 days
off, who are seeking more than 50% of holidays off, and/or have
negative background or employment history are not eligible for the
same processing timeline.Position and participates in all
computerized tomographyscanning procedures. Sets up, monitors and
operates complex computerizedequipment for diagnostic
purposes.Essential Functions andResponsibilities:1. Sets up
andmonitors computer operation of C.T. equipment per patient.
Transfers andpositions patients utilizing accepted standards of
safety and proper liftingtechniques. Applies immobilization devices
as necessary. 2. Provides required patientidentification. Obtains
vital information from patients concerning knownallergies and
pertinent medical history. 3. Properly prepares and injectscontrast
media intravenously into appropriate patients as needed
forexamination to be performed as protocolled by Radiologist. 4.
Makes and develops images forpermanent file of each patient.
Records all studies on magnetic tape for futurereference.5.
Organizes daily patient schedule incooperation with work-room
technician.6. Maintains image quality followingdepartment
guidelines. Daily calibration and quality control of
equipmentfollowing department guidelines. Assures proper repair of
equipment isperformed, follows MRMC protocols for imaging
procedures. 7. Responsible for electronic/digitalimage capture,
storage, transfer, and copy.8. Monitors patients for
allergicreaction and takes proper action as needed. Assist with
emergency medicalsituations including providing basic CPR.9.
Provides protection to self andpatients in accordance with current
prescribed safety standards and regulationsas set forth by Michigan
Department of Public Health.10. Maintains cleanliness of
workingenvironment. Assures supplies are maintained within
department inventorylevels.11. Instructs new personnel as
needed.12. Assists Radiologists and otherphysician specialists in
performance of specialized radiological procedureswith level of
skill consistent with department standards.13. Reviews and records
pertinentpatient history and supportive clinical data to aid
Radiologist in diagnosis ofpatient.14. Maintains Registry in
accordancewith regulatory agency requirements.15. Participates in
Medical Center and/ordepartmental quality assessments and
continuous quality improvementopportunities, goal setting,
collection and evaluation of data, implementationof action plans,
or related applications Submission requirements: 2 Years of

NOT required. A skills checklist completed within one year of
application for RN specialties is required. All other professions
outside of Nursing are not required but preferred. Michigan license
verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and
Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler s
best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the
manager's review. Physical copies of certifications are only
required in the profile if listed above. Full-time employees of
McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of
employment. Rate:93 other weekend Guaranteed Hours: Contract
