Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic healthcare team.
The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff and manage
day-to-day operations in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals,
ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.
This role requires a blend of leadership, clinical expertise, and a
commitment to provide exceptional patient care in line with our
mission to help patients regain independence. Oversee and supervise
all nursing staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and
policies. Coordinate nursing staff schedules, training, and
evaluations. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement
patient-care programs. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and
local regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to
improve patient outcomes. Manage patient care planning and proper
documentation. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in
electronic health record systems. Ability to handle high-stress
situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of healthcare
regulations and accreditation standards. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) preferred.
