System is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
to join the Adult Psychiatry unit at Wyandotte Hospital. This role
provides compassionate, high-quality psychiatric nursing care while
collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support
patient safety, recovery, and therapeutic outcomes. Key
Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing care
using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation,
evaluation) - Coordinate and supervise patient care activities
while ensuring accurate documentation - Communicate effectively
with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members -
Participate in patient de-escalation techniques and psychiatric
assessments - Assist in identifying and resolving variances in
patient care goals - Uphold hospital policies, safety standards,
and quality-of-care expectations Schedule Details - Shifts: 12-hour
nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Work Pattern Options: - Monday,
Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday - Wednesday, Thursday - OR alternate
schedules including Sunday, Thursday, Friday / Tuesday, Wednesday,
Saturday - Training Provided: - De-escalation training -
Cross-training in Psychiatric Assessment Services - Interview:
Video interview completed by hiring manager - Overtime: Billable
after 48 hours Requirements Required: - Active Michigan RN License
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - BLS
Certification - Strong psychiatric clinical skills and
communication abilities Preferred: - BSN (Bachelor of Science in
