False Weekend/Holiday: True Job Description: The Polysomnographic
technician works under the general supervision of the Registered
Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or Manager to provide
comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may
involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or
patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technician can
perform their duties under the direct supervision of a Registered
Polysomnographic Technologist. Minimum Qualifications: • Currently
enrolled in an CAAHEP or Co-ARC program. • Must successfully pass
the BRPT or NBRC SDS exam within six (6) of graduation/completion
of program. • BLS Certified through the American Heart Association.
Certification must be active at time of hire and maintained
throughout employment in position. Preferred Qualifications:
