seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Senior Property
Accountant to support a portfolio of industrial, commercial, and
residential properties, along with personal and investment-related
financial activities. This position requires strong property
management accounting skills, solid tax knowledge, and a high level
of integrity and discretion. Sr. Property Accountant
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The part-time
Senior Property Accountant will handle full-cycle accounting,
including tenant billing, utilities, and property tax payments,
while maintaining accurate financial records across all entities.
The role also involves evaluating investment performance, preparing
return analyses, reviewing financial reports, and assisting with
development projects in Michigan and other states. Sound judgment,
and the ability to manage both routine accounting tasks and more
advanced financial analysis are essential. This position will work
closely with the business owner and their Executive Assistant,
maintaining clear and consistent communication to stay aligned on
updates, new properties, and evolving investment activities.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Sr. Property
Accountant Position: · 5 years of property accounting experience
(industrial, commercial, or mixed-use preferred). · Strong
understanding of property tax, multi-state accounting, and real
estate operations. · Proficiency in Rent Manager or similar
property management systems. · Solid knowledge of reconciliations,
financial statements, and investment performance analysis. ·
Ability to review third-party financial reports and calculate
returns · Highly organized, analytical, and detail-focused with a
professional, dependable, and trustworthy work style. Compensation
and Structure for Sr. Property Accountant Position: This is a
part-time position working approximately 25-30 hours per week with
an office location in the Livingston-Oakland County area. The
business owner is willing to offer a competitive base compensation
based on years of experience. The Recruitment Process for the Sr.
