Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in
Dearborn, MI is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to provide vital
support services for students in both general and special education
programs. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 15,
2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The role requires onsite presence
to engage directly with students, staff, and families. Key
Responsibilities: Serve as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring
compliance and appropriate accommodations for students Deliver
social-emotional support and behavior intervention tailored to
individual student needs Collaborate effectively with educators,
administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop
and implement student support plans Conduct clinical assessments
and provide appropriate interventions to promote student well-being
and academic success Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work
Current Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker Experience
working with K-12 students in school settings, with knowledge of
both general and special education populations Strong clinical
assessment abilities and intervention skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills fostering collaborative
relationships within a school environment Ability to work
collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team This
